Brentford Loch West, London

Located on the famed Grand Union Canal outside London, Brentford Lock West is a brand new residential development with a stylish and sophisticated appeal. Woodland were involved in this project right from the start and completed the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom furniture across 131 apartments, 4 duplex apartments and 6 townhouses.

Marketed as a stylish and unique residential development, Woodland’s expertise in design played a key role in delivering the client’s aspirations of high specification living for their style-conscious customers.

The kitchens were finished to an exquisite standard with handless latte gloss doors featuring a gola profile, white carcase, blum hinges and soft closing mechanisms on all drawers and topped off with a 20mm stone worktop. To create the wow factor, LED strip lighting was integrated above the worktop to create a warm ambiance to the open plan living space.

Woodland offered a smart, compact bathroom design by integrating the sink and WC as fully fitted furniture. The storage unit with generous shelving is cleverly concealed behind the mirror at eye-level making it easier for adults and harder for children to reach toiletries. Mixing clean whites/greys with the warmth of the natural oak has created a relaxing and comfortable spa-like retreat.

The furniture in the bedroom offers a truly luxurious tailored space. Keen to maximise storage capacity the client opted for fitted slide robes. The off-white walls and fitted slide robes melted into the recess, without doors intruding into the bedroom space.

The beside cabinets were specifically designed by Woodland for this project. The sharp, angular lines and minimalistic details of grey woodgrain and chrome frame and legs match perfectly with the overall contemporary design of these new homes.
