This project received significant recognition in 2019, earning an International Building Project of the Year Award and being named as a finalist at a prestigious industry awards event in the UK.

Woodland was proud to contribute to this extensive development. The package included the design, manufacture, and installation of kitchen cabinetry and doors, media units, bathroom vanity units, and bedroom furniture across 183 studio apartments.

The design brief emphasised chic, minimalistic aesthetics to appeal to the target audience. Bold colours were chosen, with moody matt graphite for the kitchen base units, contrasting matt white tall wall doors, and distinctive chamfered edges with black multiplex detailing. Softer oak finishes on shorter wall cabinet doors provided a complementary contrast to the monochrome palette. Woodland also supplied and installed worktops, high-end electrical appliances, and other kitchen fixtures.

In selected apartments, a media unit functioned as a room divider, providing TV space and storage for personal items. This helped zone the living area while maintaining the flow of open-plan spaces.

The bathrooms featured concealed wall-mounted oak vanity units, cleverly designed to slide out from behind large mirrors for easy access. A 70mm oak shelf above the sink and toilet area added a touch of sophistication.

Bedrooms were fitted with wardrobes and bedside drawers, tailored to the varying sizes of the studios. The wardrobes included graphite doors, integrated LED lighting, shelves, and hanging rails, offering ample storage.

The carefully curated palette of colours and premium finishes delivered a contemporary and sophisticated interior, perfectly suited for modern living.
